Community Fundraiser

The Haven Appeal has been established to create for the Highlands a purpose built specialist centre and respite facility in Inverness, which will serve the needs of children and young adults with complex and multiple disabilities throughout the Highlands. The total cost of building ‘The Haven Centre’ is currently estimated at £3.2 million.

To assist the Foundation in achieving this funding objective we are looking for an enthusiastic Self Employed Fundraiser to join our team and deliver a comprehensive fund raising programme. This will include organising events, raising public awareness and managing our community fundraising supporters to meet our financial objectives.

The successful candidate must be a self-starter with outstanding organisational abilities and possess excellent communication skills both oral and written. Candidates must hold a current UK driving licence.

The position will be ‘home based’ and the hours can be tailored to the successful candidate. Occasional weekend and evening work will be a prerequisite in order to attend meetings and events. Remuneration will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s skills, track record and abilities. However, fundraising experience is preferred but not essential and in return we can offer a stimulating and rewarding position in the non-profit charitable sector.
